For me, the About Me page is always one of the more difficult, but interesting, pages to write in a blog. Mainly because it challenges me to take a good, close, look at my purpose in blogging at any particular blog.

For some of my blogs, the About Me page keeps getting updated on a regular basis. Working Blogger, I think, is my one blog where this page has changed almost seasonally. It is my blog about my blogging, and since my blogging has seen many shifts and changes - in perspective, in direction, in purpose - so too has this blog.

So here I am, once again, updating this page. I took about ten months’ hiatus (officially, it was only about six months, but I really wasn’t posting much for the four months before that). Why the hiatus? A couple of things: blogging burnout, for one. But mostly, I felt I lacked a direction here.

There are, after all, a lot of fabulous blogs about blogging. I found I didn’t have much to offer there, not with any originality, anyway. So I felt stymied, unable to come up with posts here, because I simply didn’t know myself what Working Blogger was all about.

Now, after a year spent away from almost all of my “real” blogs - blogs that are about me - I have a renewed confidence in who I am, and this has had the effect of reviving Working Blogger. I do blog for a living; but I make my money online through my niche blogging sites. My niche blogs aren’t well-known, they’re not famous, I’m not known as an expert in various niches.

Instead, they chug along, earning me a nice bit of income daily. They are stable. The search engines love them. As do I!

So that is what I blog about here at Working Blogger: living the blogging life, and making money through niche blogging.

I hope you enjoy reading this blog as much as I enjoy writing it. I love getting comments on my posts, and I love it too when people drop me a line.

For me, one of the most amazing and wonderful things about blogging is the incredible, fabulous people that I have met, and continue to meet.
